When you not only learn to forgive others, but yourself too, you will find the power in forgiveness.
Holding on to grudges and negative thoughts, or feelings is not only unhealthy, but it’s pointless. There is nothing good that is going to come from holding a grudge besides make you feel weighed down, angry, and drained.
Many of us have a hard time forgiving ourselves for things we did, and said in the past. We feel regretful for these things, and wish they never happened, or were never said. But, they did happen, and they were said.
What you have to do is learn how to let go of them and forgive yourself so that you can finally move on with your life without the weight of your past.
Holding on to regret, no matter what it is that happened, or who it was that hurt you, you must learn to forgive yourself, let it go… and move on with style and grace.
